Artist introduction
Fabian Lavater is a Swiss freelance artist and illustrator based in Basel, the art capital of Europe. A graduate in Business Administration and Sustainable Development, and a passionate surfer, his diverse experiences and interests infuse his work with a captivating sense of wonder and curiosity.
Work introduction
"Escape" is a design created exclusively for Rabbit Air and depicts a lone surfer riding a big wave in the sun.
According to artist Lavater, this work is part of his Rainbow Waves series, which explores the joy and connection of nature, such as waves and snow.
The vibrant colors express the joy that comes from being in contact with nature, and the design itself is very minimalist and simple. Lavater says, "I believe that simple design is the key to living a happy life."
He also said, "I hope this piece will bring joy to homes and inspire people to remember the simple joys in life, like fresh air."
